According to a recent survey conducted by NTT DATA and Informa Pharma Intelligence, patient awareness and access were the largest obstacles to enrollment in “precision based” clinical trials. The survey also shed light on the tremendous potential for utilizing machine learning in precision medicine-based clinical trials and therapeutic programs.

While acknowledging the limitations of AI models in precision Oncology, AI will not replace the tacit knowledge and subject matter expertise provided by Oncologists and Radiologists for driving accurate targeting for patient stratification and therapies.

This webinar will explore the successes of applying machine learning to the various challenges identified in clinical trials, as well as identifying alternative therapies for improved patient outcomes. The new AI models have potential to offer preventive, diagnostic, and treatment options and alternatives to healthcare practitioners, supplementing their expertise and insights at a resolution and scale unimaginable just a few years ago. The challenge will be to translate and apply these discoveries to affect precision diagnosis and precision therapy for improved patient outcomes.
